We service A-Class, C-Class, E-Class, GLA, GLC, GLE and AMG models at our Albion workshop. Mercedes-Benz alternates between Service A and Service B, and the ASSYST system decides the timing from how the car is driven. We read ASSYST before quoting, tell you which service is due, and list any extra items the schedule adds at that age or distance, such as brake fluid, spark plugs or the transmission service.

• Automatic transmission fluid never changed. The 7G-Tronic and 9G-Tronic gearboxes have their own fluid and filter interval, and on cars bought second hand it is often missing. A harsh change from second to first while rolling to a stop is the classic early sign.
• Cooling and air conditioning in the heat. Radiators, auxiliary water pumps and the climate control system carry a heavier load in a Queensland summer, and a car that runs warm in traffic deserves a pressure test before the hot months.
• Diesels on short runs. BlueTEC and later diesels need regular highway driving to clean their particulate filters. Cars that only do school runs and shopping trips build up soot and dilute their oil, so we check both at every service.
• Two batteries. Many models run a main and an auxiliary battery. When the small one weakens, the dashboard can show warnings that point everywhere except the battery.

Oil goes in to the MB approval number for your engine, which goes on the invoice. Parts are genuine or OE, ASSYST is reset through the diagnostic system, and the service is recorded against the VIN so the history is complete. ADAS calibration after windscreen, alignment or suspension work is done in-house, and you approve the quote before anything is touched.
