Which Volkswagen models do you service?
We service all Volkswagen models, from the Golf and Polo to the Tiguan and Amarok, including GTI and R performance cars. Get in touch to confirm your model if needed.
How do I know what it'll cost?
You'll get a clear quote before any work begins, and nothing gets done until you approve it. We fix what your car actually needs, with no upselling.
Do I need to book, or can I drop in?
We're by appointment only, so every car gets a specialist's full attention. Book online or call 1300 093 121, most weeks have same-week availability.
Can I service my Volkswagen in Brisbane outside the dealership?
Golf, Polo, Tiguan, T-Roc, Passat, Amarok and the GTI and R models make up a large share of the cars through our Albion workshop. Volkswagen offers two service regimes: fixed, every 12 months or 15,000 km, and flexible, where the car stretches the interval up to two years. Flexible servicing assumes long, steady runs. For a car that mostly does short Brisbane trips in the heat, we recommend the fixed interval and will explain why on the day.
What do you find most on Volkswagens in Brisbane?
- DSG gearboxes overdue for fluid. The six-speed wet-clutch DSG needs fluid and a filter at around 60,000 km. A shudder pulling away or a clunk between first and second is often the gearbox asking for it. The seven-speed dry-clutch DSG in smaller cars has different needs, and we check which one you have before quoting.
- Coolant loss on TSI engines. The water pump and thermostat housing on the 1.4 and 2.0 TSI are a known weak point, and heat speeds it up. We pressure test the system rather than just topping it up.
- Amarok and Tiguan diesels. Particulate filters and EGR valves clog on vehicles that rarely see the highway. Fuel in the oil and a filter that never finishes its cleaning cycle are the things we look for.
- 4MOTION and Haldex. All-wheel-drive models have a coupling with its own oil and filter, and it is rarely in the service history.
Do you service to the Volkswagen specification?
Oil to the VW approval for your engine, genuine or OE parts with numbers on the invoice, and DSG fluid filled at the correct temperature with the gearbox adaptations reset through the diagnostic system. The service is recorded against the VIN, ADAS calibration is in-house, and nothing is done until you approve the quote.
